Associate Director of Development

Julie Thayer is a development and marketing professional with experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor engagement, strategic communications, and high-profile event management. A graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Information, Communication, and Technology, Julie currently serves as the Associate Director of Development at the Promise Fund, where she manages major donor relationships, corporate partnerships, and strategic fundraising initiatives supporting women’s access to breast and cervical cancer care.

Julie has led high-profile events and partnerships involving organizations such as Miss America, the Florida Panthers, and Related Ross, while also contributing to strategic planning, speechwriting, and marketing initiatives for the organization. Prior to her current role, she gained experience in media content production, social media management, and digital communications through her work with the YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta.
