Aydeivis Jean Pierre Lafargue León is a medical doctor, specializing in General and Family Medicine from the University of Havana, Cuba. With over 25 years of experience working in vulnerable communities in Cuba and Haiti, she has extensive expertise in comprehensive healthcare, including health education, prevention, counseling, and care coordination for chronic diseases, particularly cancer. She has participated in research projects on various topics, such as HIV, depression, social determinants of health, and chronic kidney disease, in collaboration with Florida International University (FIU) and the University of Miami (UM). As a certified Community Health Worker, she is dedicated to health education, particularly regarding breast cancer, and actively promotes early detection and comprehensive care for the most vulnerable populations.
